A Magazine Built Around Real Life

As a local mum (living in Warrington) with a background in marketing and over 15 years of experience helping businesses communicate with people, I’ve always believed that connection matters.

Over the years, I’ve seen how difficult it can be for brilliant independent businesses to stand out, particularly when competing against large national brands and fast-moving online advertising. At the same time, I’ve also seen how many people actively want to support local businesses, they just don’t always know where to find them.

That’s where the idea for Spark began.

I wanted to create a magazine that brings together trusted local businesses, expert advice, inspiring stories, and engaging content in one beautiful, easy-to-read place. A magazine that supports both the businesses within our community and the people who live here.

The name Spark represents inspiration, energy, positivity, and new beginnings.
